In 2021, Michael Scherotter took a sabbatical from his 15-year career in creative software engineering and program management at Microsoft to pursue a passion project to create and launch Galeryst.com, a site that generates 3D virtual galleries from Adobe Photoshop Lightroom collections. Since launching, more than 400 artists and photographers globally have created galleries to share their work on desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, and VR headsets with global audiences.
In his 27-year career in software, Michael has used his design education in architecture to design and built CAD applications, lead software teams, evangelized developer platforms and lead media-industry co-engineering projects with a particular focus on the intersection of creativity and technology.
