Michael Barngrover is Managing Director of XR4Europe, where he works to build bridges and foster knowledge exchange and collaboration between XR stakeholders across the continent of Europe. This follows years of organizing thought leadership and networking events for regional and global XR communities such as Euromersive Türkiye and the XR Crowd. Michael has supported the establishment of several university XR laboratories in his hometown of Istanbul, and led workshops, hackathons, and exhibitions for local students and creatives. In addition to his community building roles, Michael has supported XR storytellers and researchers as a Unity developer and designer, archaeologists with photogrammetry and field training, and companies and institutions with XR project management and consulting.
