Flavia Mazzanti (IT/BR) is cofounder of Immerea, a media company based in Vienna focusing on the development of VR Games and interactive Installations. She's also co-organizer of XRVienna and active as public speaker and university lecturer. At Immerea, they are interested in experimenting with immersive media and game as a medium with the aim of developing and providing new ways of perception and interaction. The works at Immerea explore philosophical-spatial theories and digital inclusion in games with high artistic quality. Coming from a background in art and architecture, Flavia is also active as media artist. Her work has been screened and awarded at multiple national and international festivals, among others the Ars Electronica Festival, DA Z - Digital Arts Festival Zurich, Parallel Vienna, ADAF. Flavia is listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list of 2023.
