Kerstin holds a bachelor degree in Work Design and HR Management and a master's degree in European Business and Corporate Management. She has been formerly working for the Austrian trade union federation in the works council support. Since 2002 she is with the PRO-GE, one of the largest Austrian workers unions union representin workers in the production, technology and service sectors of industries and trades as secretary for economic consulting, macroeconomic topics and as expert on I4.0 topics. She is board member of the Austrian I4.0 platform and the leading expert of the Human-in-the-digital-factory group. Furthermore, she is member of the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) advisory board for production and materials
