Reedah El-Saie, is the founder and CEO of multi-award winning EdTech Gaming startup, Brainspark Games. The studio is building an eduverse of free, inclusive, AI-powered, Augmented Reality, educational mobile games, aligned with the national curriculum, for 7-13yos. Reedah is on a mission to revolutionise the way children learn-through-play to ensure no child gets left behind!

Borne out of a personal frustration with exams, constant revision and an antiquated education system, Reedah founded Brainspark Games in 2019 bootstrapping and seedfunding the MVP. Having released its first History game, featuring the Tudors, in the Apple and Google Playstores in 2021 with 71,000+ downloads, Brainspark Games was awarded Innovate UK’s ‘Audience of The Future’ grant, for a human centred design research project to develop a climate game prototype, which was subsequently a finalist for AWE XR’s ‘Climate Education’ Challenge Prize, and selected as one of only eight European companies to pitch at the AWE XR Europe, Vienna Pitch competition in 2023. Brainspark Games is currently developing a bundle of games ranging from; History, English, Art, Physics, Maths and Climate and pioneering neurogames technology.

Reedah is a multi-award winning founder, having achieved numerous accolades including; Innovate-UK ‘Inclusive Innovation’ (2022-23), Innovate-UK ‘Women In Innovation Winner’ (2021-22), Innovate-UKSmart Grant-‘Creator Spark’ (2023/24) and Innovate-UK ‘MindsetXR’ for neurowellbeing technology (2023). Featured ‘Top 100 Asians in Tech 2023’, finalist for ‘Design Intelligence Awards’, finalist for Barclays ‘Entrepreneur of the Year–Games Award’ 2022/23, shortlisted for Holon IQ’s ‘Europe’s EdTech200–Advanced Technology’ (2023), ASU+GSV Elite200 2023/2022, selected for Top 30 global winner of GSV & Unity ‘EdTech Creator Challenge’(2022), Creative Industries Council ‘100 Ones To Watch 2021’, Brainspark Games was showcased in UKTechNews as ‘One of London’s Most Diverse Tech Startups’ (2021). The company is part of ‘Game Changer’ accelerator led by Games London, funded by the UK Government and supported by the Mayor of London, as well as Ukie Barclays Games Accelerator, London & Partners Business Growth programme, Google Startup Campus, UCL’s EDUCATE Accelerator, supported by Barclays Games & Creative team, Barclays Eagle Labs and UK Games Angels.

Reedah graduated in Law from the London School of Economics, read a Masters in Law from UCL before qualifying as a barrister. She spent several years working as a management consultant before launching a number of businesses in the creative industries and later working as a Portfolio/Project Manager working in the Middle East & UK. She is married with three children and lives in Chelsea, London
