A Digital Twin in the Teaching of Climate-Resilient Forestry

Join us for a presentation about the development of a digital twin of a Finnish forest with the help of laser scanning. We have taken it to the simulator and trained the artificial intelligence to look for tree individuals that are different from the rest of the forest. We are able to distinguish, for example, trees that have weakened from leafy green and display them on the map to help the driver. We can simulate different conditions and, for example, the direction of the sun's light. We use API interfaces when using maps, the simulator can be used with VR glasses. We would present tasks and simulation developed for climate-resistant forestry.
