Founding Architect of HoloLens and Leader of Next-Gen AR at Meta
Andrew Fuller has been a driving force in XR hardware for over two decades, beginning as a core member of the original five-person team that incubated Microsoft’s HoloLens. As Product Architect for HoloLens 2, he led pivotal advancements in optics, ergonomics, and modular design, significantly elevating the standard for mixed reality headsets. Fuller’s contributions extended beyond design—he was instrumental in both the vision and execution that defined the HoloLens platform.
At Meta, he helped initiate and now directs hardware engineering for Orion, a next-generation AR glasses project aimed at delivering immersive, wide-FOV experiences in a sleek, consumer-ready form. His work continues to shape the trajectory of wearable AR.
