Ann Lasko-Harvill
Chief Designer of Data Suits at VPL Research

Ann Lasko-Harvil, the chief designer of data suits at VPL Research, spearheaded the development of VPL's “Reality Built for Two” (RB2) whole body VR suit. RB2, a groundbreaking virtual reality tool that was developed circa 1989, facilitated multi-user interaction in virtual spaces.

She also designed new user interface paradigms and devices for networked virtual reality including the DataSuit and Microcosm systems whilst at VPL Research.

Lasko-Harvil's contributions revolutionized VR interface design and expanded the scope of VR applications, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of immersive technologies.
