Anand Agarawala is co-founder and CEO of Spatial, a cross-reality AR platform that turns any room intoa 3D shared space. Anand is a serial entrepreneur, product interaction designer and engineer who hasbeen on the forefront of 3D technology for the pastdecade. Prior to Spatial, Anand presented hismaster’s thesis, 3D desktop user interface, at TED, that garnered 10 million views. Anand then turnedthis into a venture-backed startup called BumpTop that was acquired by Google in 2010. At Google,Anand worked on experimental Google Glass features at Google X as well as early versions of thehomescreen and core user interface for Android and led the effort to reboot the design of the Google+mobile apps.Anand received a master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Toronto and abachelor’s degree at the University of Calgary. He holds 7 U.S. patents across UI design and 3Dtechnology
