Jazmieka Smith is the Export Administration Manager for Toyota Motor North America’s Export Marine Strategy and Operations team in Plano, TX. Originally from Savannah, GA, she is a 2010 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she majored in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation and minored in Information Systems with a SAP Certificate. Currently, she is pursuing an MBA at Texas Wesleyan University, concentrating in Supply Chain Management. Jazmieka has over 10 years of industry experience with a diverse background in logistics, transportation, distribution, and supply chain management. Jazmieka’s analytical skills, focus to detail, innovation, and strategic decision making has been embodied in her work through numerous kaizen projects, cost savings initiatives, and recently as 1/3 of the founding team of the TAAR (Toyota Accessory Augmented Reality) configurator, Toyota’s newest customer driven augmented reality application.
