Karl Leahy is the Director of Marketing for illumination sources (LED & LASER) for AR Glasses. He plays a global role in promoting illumination sources for this emerging market.

A native of Arklow, Co Wicklow, Ireland, Mr. Leahy joined ams OSRAM in July 1997 and served as both a senior engineer as well as product marketing manager before assuming his current position. Prior to joining ams OSRAM, Mr. Leahy held the position of applications engineer for Lite On, Inc., located Milpitas, California.

Mr. Leahy holds an honors degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
