First, the AWE is a public forum. Speakers’ statements or written materials may be independently recorded or published by news media organizations or other attendees outside the control of AugmentedReality.org. Second, the purpose of this agreement is to inform you that AugmentedReality.org makes every effort to extend to a wider audience the reach of the ideas, information and expression comprising the AWE through the diffusion and re-publication of the event’s presentations via accessible contemporary communication outlets, including the World Wide Web, SlideShare, and YouTube.
By signing this agreement below, and in consideration for your participation at AWE, you hereby (a) permit AugmentedReality.org to record in full your presentation at the AWE in both audio and visual formats (the “Recording”); (b) grant AugmentedReality.org, its affiliates and licensees, a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to reproduce, display, perform, edit, transcribe, distribute and make derivative works of the Recording in whole or in part, in any and all languages and media (now known or hereafter developed); and (c) grant AugmentedReality.org, its affiliates and licensees, a non-exclusive license to your voice, name, likeness, and biographical data to publicize or advertise the Recording. AugmentedReality.org will provide attribution in connection with exhibitions of the Recording.
You represent and warrant to AugmentedReality.org that your presentation is an original work by you or that you have the full right and authority to grant the rights herein granted in all media throughout the world; and that no one else’s permission is required.
Upon request, AugmentedReality.org will provide you a copy of the Recording.
This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of California, without giving effect to principles of conflicts of law.
