John Katzman is the founder and CEO of Noodle, which connects universities, technology, students, and companies to increase access to great higher ed.
Before he got it right, Katzman founded and ran two large public education organizations. He was CEO and Chairman of 2U, which pioneered high-quality online degree programs. Prior to that, Katzman was CEO and Chairman of The Princeton Review, which helps students find, get into, and pay for college and grad school.
Katzman has served on the Boards of Directors for several for- and non-profits, including Carnegie Learning, Renaissance Learning, the National Association of Independent Schools, the Institute for Citizens and Scholars, and the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools. He has helped launch several other education technology companies, invested in many others, and authored or co-authored five books and many articles.
Katzman is married to Alicia Ernst; they have a son (27) and daughter (25). His personal interests include ice hockey, running, skiing, architecture, and (sadly) the NY Jets.
