Melissa Schmitz is a UX Research Engineer for Emerging Technologies at The Raymond Corporation, a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation that specializes in forklift manufacturing and intelligent intralogistics solutions. Her main area of expertise is in virtual reality, where she currently focuses her work on VR comfort and was formerly UX and product lead for the Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator, which teaches operators how to drive a forklift in VR using real trucks as controllers.
