Kim started her career in the music industry, working for Universal Music Group and realized in the early days of Napster and digitized online content, that digital was the future of content distribution and consumption. She moved to Microsoft and worked in Business Development for 14 years supporting online services MSN and Bing. Departing Microsoft in 2014, she started dabbling in virtual reality, first in space planning and design, then in outdoor advertising, space mapping and 3D renderings, and finally joining HaptX in 2018. As the Vice President of Sales, Kim leads the Sales organization, global engagement and exploitation of the HaptX product(s) and is thrilled about the future of haptics in virtual reality for natural interaction and immersion, as the human-machine interface for conduct of telerobotics, and in furnishings, accessories, information conduct, and many other potential uses. We’ve barely tapped the full potential of the use of haptics in various products and experiences.
