Description

The Dream Machine Experience at Lincoln Center is a groundbreaking example of how cultural institutions worldwide can reinvent themselves to stay relevant and engage new audiences in the digital & virtual age. This electrifying project, conceived by the visionary Nona Hendryx, fuses cutting-edge technology with Afro futurist art and diverse music to create a mind-bending, immersive experience that transcends traditional boundaries.

DreamMachine redefines “cultural affairs" by embracing emerging tech, breaking physical initiations and fostering inclusivity. Lincoln Center finds new ways to future proof their institution by collaborating with visionary artists and creating active participatory experiences. Together the team has created collaborations with AI empowered interactions with Bina48, AR journeys, VR performances and mixed reality engagements. The end result is extending an artists’ presence,  preserving knowledge, and reimagining AfroFuturism — by exploring interactions, bridging generations and demystifying technology.

The Dream Machine Experience at Lincoln Center serves as a beacon for cultural institutions worldwide, demonstrating how to harness the power of technology, diversity, and creativity to remain relevant and inspiring in our rapidly evolving digital landscape. By embracing this new paradigm, institutions can transform themselves into dynamic, inclusive spaces that resonate with audiences of today and tomorrow.
