Hugh is a product-driven business leader at the forefront of spatial intelligence. He played a key role in launching the Niantic Spatial Platform and is part of the team formally establishing Niantic Spatial in 2025. Hugh is driving the adoption of advanced spatial capabilities—such as spatial capture, the Visual Positioning System (VPS), and spatial understanding—to help partners and customers solve real-world challenges more effectively with spatial intelligence. Prior to his current role, Hugh led Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, and Developer Relations at Niantic, where he helped launch and grow Niantic’s mobile games, forged strategic alliances, and supported a thriving global developer community. Outside of work, Hugh is an avid cyclist, skier, and proud Star Wars superfan.
