Lauren Bedal spent the last 8 years in Silicon Valley designing digital and physical products. She blends her knowledge of dance and choreography with human computer interaction and is passionate about inventing ways computers can understand our body movements and gestures in delightful, respectful and meaningful ways. She currently works at Google ATAP, a R&D lab that researches emerging technologies. Outside of Google work, she’s founded @syncopated.objects – a research studio that experiments with movement visualization techniques.
