It’s ON! The AWE Team can’t wait to greet you in Lisbon in a few short weeks. Below are some important “Know Before You Go” details designed to help you have the best experience imaginable.
How do I get my badge?
All registrants must check in at the registration area (Pavilion 1) upon entering the event. At registration, you will check in with the QR code in your confirmation email or the QR code in your ‘Know Before You Go’ email. You can print either of these emails or just scan directly from your mobile device (scanning from your device is recommended). If you do not have these QR codes handy, no worries! We can check you in by name.
After you check in, your badge prints out then and there.
You must wear your badge at all times while at AWE EU 2022 (unless you are a speaker presenting on stage).
When is check-in/registration open?
Registration is open in Pavilion 1 on the following days and times:
Wednesday, October 19: 16:00 to 20:00**
Thursday, October 20: 07:30 to 18:00
Friday, October 21: 07:30 to 17:00
**We highly encourage you to pick up your badge on Wednesday to avoid the Thursday rush.
Can I pick up badges for my colleagues?
Yes. As long as you will see your colleagues to hand them their badge before they access AWE, you are welcome to pick up your teammates' badges; However, if you will not see them, it is better for them to pick up their own badge when they arrive at AWE.
Can I wear my own lanyard?
No. Due to security reasons, you must wear the AWE lanyard given to you during check in. If desired, you can wear your own in addition to the AWE lanyards.
I need a travel/Visa letter - can AWE help?
Yes, with at least 24 business hours notice, AWE can provide you with a travel/Visa letter. Request travel/Visa letter here.
What happens if I lose my badge?
We have a no badge reprint policy. See the onsite Badge Assistance desk for further assistance.
What is the event attire?
