It’s easy to forget that the majority of the world is not nerding out, or even paying attention to, the extended reality world that is being pioneered by passionate practitioners like yourselves. This can create a disconnect when XR creators are producing experiences for exactly these people, which leads to two things happening: Firstly, there’s less XR advertising out there than there should be because a lot of people working for brands simply just don’t get it. Secondly, there is kicka*s XR advertising out there only being experienced by an underwhelming few.
Just like in all marketing, deep and genuine empathy for your audience is key to making impactful XR advertising experiences that capture attention.
