Ricard has created virtual world projects since the mid-2000’s. At present, he works as co-founder at Vienna-based Captic GmbH. Captic has created a web-native whitelabel metaverse solution, hosting thousands of worlds. Captic offers the world’s most flexible spatial computing platform, incl. market-exclusive features such as live, in-browser scripting and GenAI capabilities. A former Games program Chair of SIGGRAPH in two occasions, Ricard is founding board member of Euromersive, the European federation of XR professionals.
