David Frerichs is a serial innovator, building international teams to transform new technologies into new businesses. With 25 years of music, virtual reality, and connected devices under his belt, David's successes include conversational AI for Toyota cars, the first high-volume mobile music download service with KDDI, the first Internet radio with Philips, 3D Web experiences for NASA Mars Pathfinder mission, and the first consumer VR head-mounted display.

David's experience spans the USA, Japan, India, Germany, Sweden, and Korea. With his deep understanding of the digital media marketplace, he has been a featured speaker and panelist at CES, Mobile Voice, CTIA, NAB, Digital Hollywood, SIGGRAPH, and on CNN.

Currently a principal engineer at Amazon Alexa, Frerichs holds a BS degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
