Check in, collect info and level up by LOOking™ the unique LOOks® market at each session you attend and every exhibitor you visit. If the AWE community collectively reaches 50,000 LOOks®, LOOks® will plant 5,000 new trees!
AWE Portal Hunt Powered by 8th Wall
Uncover an alien world with the AWE Portal Hunt, a web AR experience powered by 8th Wall that works on any smartphone. Explore the expo floor to discover the portals and use your phone to unlock extraterrestrial games and activities. What will you find in the next dimension? Here’s how to play:
Locate the 10 ancient portals placed throughout the Convention Center
Scan each portal’s QR code to activate, and complete the challenge to collect a relic
Collect all 10 relics for the chance to win a prize!
Users who collect all 10 relics will be eligible to win the grand prize of a standard 8.9” Looking Glass with Interaction Accessory Pack and 2 tickets to AWE USA 2020. Use HoloGrid, an AR browser, to navigate around AWE USA 2019 with augmented reality and find holograms! HoloGrid will show you where you are along with other fun and useful holograms, including an interactive robot and pop-ups telling you know which speakers are on stage. Take a photo or video of the holograms and share it on social media with the hashtags #AWE2019 #hologrid.Download the app now! Bring your swimsuit to go snorkeling in virtual reality at the AWE USA 2019 Pool Party! DIVR from Ballast Technologies will turn the Hyatt pool into a full-body sensory journey through coral reefs, shipwrecks, and underwater caves. Swim alongside turtles, exotic fish, manta rays, and whales.

The immersion and interaction keep going inside the AWE Playground at the AWE USA 2019 Happy Hour. Let out your inner Leonardo (or Artemisia if you’re an art history fan) and draw in augmented reality with the Spatiate app for Magic Leap!
