His professional journey began in geospatial services, and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Nexus 3D Consulting in 2016, a company that quickly became a global leader in geospatial and reality capture services. Nexus 3D’s growth led to its acquisition by Allen & Company in 2023, where he continues to serve as the Chief Innovation Officer. Matthew has advised and supported projects alongside companies like ExxonMobil, Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Micron, Albertsons, AECOM, HDR, the Department of Defense, and even the FBI.

In 2020 Matthew founded the Reality Capture Network (RCN), featuring a podcast with industry disruptors, an online education center, and a globally recognized conference. RCN brings together the world's most innovative minds to share, learn, and revolutionize industries across the built environment. His goal is to inspire professionals to embrace change, adopt new technologies, and create a culture of innovation that leads to growth for the entire industry.
