Jonathan Foremny is a professional Falcon test pilot with 4,238 documented hours TT and Aviation Chief where he focuses on heading regulatory and legal compliance for TCOM, L.P.'s UA division. In addition, he is an associate professor of commercial flight planning and management, and a doctoral student focusing on investigating the societal and economic benefits of systematically (i.e. operating under a rules-based rather than a waiver-based regulatory structure) integrating BVLOS UAS (beyond visual line of sight uncrewed aircraft systems) operations into complex airspaces. Jonathan has undergraduate degrees in UAV Operations and Applications and Information Systems Management from Wilmington University, a M.S. in Aviation and Space from Oklahoma State University, and is wrapping up his doctorate in Aviation and Space from Oklahoma State University with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025. Jonathan began his foray into the aviation industry by working within the FAA's BEYOND program before transitioning to the private sector, flying commercial UA (uncrewed aircraft) based out of KFSD. In addition, he was the Chief Part 107 instructor which took him throughout the country from Jacksonville, FL, to Bend, Oregon, to Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska. Subsequently, Jonathan worked with Gulfstream G550s, Pilatus PC-12s, PC-24s, and Agusta 109s as a pilot manager out of KSFO. Currently, Jonathan lives and works on the Chesapeake Bay just north of Washington, D.C. designing and flying custom aircraft for a range of clients to include those that reside both within the US DoD and private sectors.
