Jonathan Foremny is a professional Test Pilot with 4,412 documented hours TT and regulatory and aerospace legal SME who resides within TCOM, L.P.'s UA division. In addition, he is an adjunct professor of commercial flight planning and management, and a doctoral candidate dissertating on an investigation into the societal and economic benefits of systematically (i.e. operating under a rules-based rather than a waiver-based regulatory structure) integrating BVLOS UAS (beyond visual line of sight uncrewed aircraft systems) operations into complex airspaces. Jonathan has undergraduate degrees in UAV Operations and Applications and Information Systems Management from Wilmington University, a M.S. in Aviation and Space from Oklahoma State University, and is wrapping up his doctorate in Aviation and Space from Oklahoma State University with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025.

Jonathan began his foray into the aviation industry by working within the FAA's BEYOND program before transitioning to the private sector, flying commercial UA (uncrewed aircraft) based out of KFSD. In addition, he was the Chief Part 107 instructor which took him throughout the country from Jacksonville, FL to Bend, Oregon and nearly everywhere in between. Subsequently, Jonathan worked with Gulfstream G550s, Pilatus PC-12s, PC-24s, and Agusta 109s as a pilot manager out of KSFO. Currently, Jonathan lives and works on the Chesapeake Bay just north of Washington, D.C. designing and flying custom aircraft for a range of clients to include those that reside both within the public and private sectors.
