Yohan Baillot is a French and US citizen with 30 years of forward looking hands-on R&D in the field of Augmented Reality. Initially, he was working from 1999-2011 with the US Army and Navy and first responders and in the last decade had various consulting appointments with many emerging enterprise and consumer markets’ actors to help them start their AR journeys. In 2019, he created ARCortex INC, a firm providing custom AR software and system integration to replace or supplement existing processes with AR. He is the founder of the ARForum, a 1999 discussion group on Augmented Reality, was general chair of the International Symposium of Mixed and Augmented Reality in 2004 in Washington DC and an advisor to the Open AR Cloud Consortium. He received a MS in EE in 1996 from ISIM, France, and a MS in CS in 1999 from UCF, Florida. He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society. He has written more than 30 publications including 2 book chapters and 6 published patents.
