Purnendu Mukherjee is the Founder & CEO of Convai, the highest-rated platform for creating realistic virtual humans with spatial awareness. Before starting Convai, he was a senior deep learning engineer at the Conversational AI org at NVIDIA. He focused on bringing state-of-the-art, deep learning-based speech and language models into production. He built Nvidia's first 3D avatar chatbot from scratch, which was presented by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang at GTC 2020. Purnendu is listed on several patents related to conversational AI and machine learning. Before starting at Nvidia, Purnendu did his graduate studies at the University of Florida with a focus on Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing.
