Robin is currently involved in developing a new Virtual Reality platform to improve communication, empathy and observation skills to health professions students, using a method developed at the Museum of Modern Art in 1990. She has partnered with museums to guide the design and development of interactive storytelling experiences since the late 1990s. Robin provides strategic insights and production expertise as clients seek to understand the opportunities and challenges offered by AR and VR and other spatial computing technologies in developing virtual cultural experiences. With Michael Owen, her partner at MediaCombo, Robin has produced several art focused XR projects, including an Augmented Reality audio tour for the Morgan Library & Museum,  Tracing Paint, an award winning 6DOF VR experience for the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center in East Hampton, and Memory & Time, Labor & Cultural History, for The Everson Museum's 2025 exhibition of work by the artist Joyce Kozloff.  She is also a member of the Media, Technology & Design Commission in the Career Technology Education program at the NYC Department of Education.
