Kidus Solomon is an undergraduate student at Santa Clara University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus in Design Thinking and a minor in Graphic Design. Alongside Dr. Kai Lukoff and a multidisciplinary team, he currently serves as a UX Designer in the Human-Computer Interaction Lab. Together, they are redesigning Santa Clara University's virtual campus tour experience for prospective students, with a particular focus on supporting first-generation college students like himself. As an Ethiopian-American UX Designer, he approaches his work with a focus on inclusivity. He believes that design should resonate with all audiences, reflecting the experiences that people from various backgrounds bring.

He previously developed his design skills as a Design Fellow at IBM, and this summer he is set to further his experience with an upcoming UX Design internship at Walmart Global Tech.
