Founder and CEO of Fungisaurs, Inc. Aiman Akhtar is an innovative producer and 3D artist specialized in stylized character development for animation, games, and toys.

Born in Pakistan and raised in Chicago IL, where he earned his BFA in Art and Technology from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Aiman then worked as a commercial 3D generalist at various advertising studios for brands including Harley-Davidson and Hotels.com before moving to pursue an entertainment career in Los Angeles in 2013. Aiman has since worked in vfx, games, tech, and stop-motion animation industries, leading up to his current leadership role as Digital Design Director at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. In 2019 Aiman founded a startup to develop his own children’s IP Fungisaurs, hybrid mushroom-dinosaur creatures, to entertain, educate and engage future generations on the importance of conserving our planet’s biodiversity & wild natural spaces. Pictured above at New York Toy Fair, Aiman just won 2023 “Out of the Box Award” for the “Fungisaurs Arise ” app which uses cutting-edge object scanning tech to bring the collectible toys to life, for players to interact, feed, dance and much more, with kids book, board game and immersive experience to come!
