Scarlett Kim is a creative producer and artist making paradigm-shifting unclassifiable experiences at the intersection of live performance and immersive technology. She recently completed her tenure as the inaugural Director of Innovation & Strategy at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where she helmed bold new work expanding the definition of theatre across physical and XR platforms. Other recent projects include: Worlds in Play (Co-Founder & Co-Producer), a gathering of play practitioners—game and theatre artists—exploring new forms of agency with ASU Media and Immersive eXperience (MIX) Center, and Live Arts Exchange [LAX] Festival (Producer) with Los Angeles Performance Practice.

Scarlett has led collaborations with partners around the globe including REDCAT, Park Avenue Armory, VAST, East West Players, Prague Quadrennial, Korea Foundation, Chilean National Council of Culture & Arts, and CultureHub. Scarlett's innovation leadership across performing arts, media and technology industries has been featured at global platforms including SXSW, SIGGRAPH, USITT, AWE, and Immersive Experience Institute/No Proscenium.
