Lauren is an art director, filmmaker & 3D artist. Since 2018 she has worked at Google as a 3D artist and art director. She designed and built the first collection of AR filters for Google video calling in 2018, and since then has scaled the program to include hundreds of content launches with new virtual backgrounds and effects released every week in Google Meet. Prior to Google, Lauren taught 3D art classes at SAE Expression college in Emeryville, CA, and worked in film and television. Her IMDB credits include the Academy award-nominated animated features Anomalisa and Marcel the Shell with Shoes On. Lauren’s short films have screened in dozens of festivals, and she has an MFA from CalArts in experimental animation.
