Kristi Woolsey is an Associate Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she leads work at the intersection of emerging technology, workplace strategy, and experience design. She currently heads BCG’s Extended Reality offering, helping Fortune 100 companies and government agencies integrate immersive technologies to drive collaboration, innovation, and operational efficiency. She regularly facilitates emerging tech workshops with senior executives to surface use cases, build alignment, and develop implementation roadmaps.
In addition to her consulting work, Kristi serves as adjunct faculty at Carnegie Mellon University’s Integrated Innovation Institute, where she teaches the application of design, technology, and business strategy. Her research includes a comparative study of 40+ XR collaboration platforms, identifying critical features for various enterprise use cases.
Kristi also brings deep policy experience. She was co-facilitator for the U.S. General Services Administration’s Technology Matters initiative, working with federal CIOs and CTOs to shape workplace tech policy. She also authored a white paper for a major tech firm on the ethics of facial recognition technology—work that informed internal policy development.
With a background spanning architecture, academia, and digital transformation, Kristi brings a systems-level perspective and a passion for helping organizations unlock human potential through thoughtful, future-ready solutions.
